That is so frustrating! I’ve noticed that a lot of networks are starting to stagger their shows so that DVRs miss the last minute or 2. I’m sure this is in a effort to get us to watch it when it’s on and boost ratings, and that makes it even more annoying. It is absolutely the worst when it’s an event you are watching! Game goes to overtime and the Tivo cuts it off. Boooooo!

Ashlee – I'm gonna pray for your hubby…poor guy…bein' a Cowboys fan, and all. LOL But you're right, at least he can't get pissy about the DVR. And having him glued to the TV also keeps him busy and out of trouble. (wink)

Jeff – I couldn't agree with your assessment of the game more. I don't know yet whether I'll be able to see this week's game, but if I can, I'm definitely going to set up the DVR to record extra time at the end!!

It is really very frustrating if you are interested in a particular game and at the last moment you could not find out the end result because of any mishap.There was plenty of good and plenty of bad alike in Sunday’s loss, but for the second week in a row, I felt Roethlisberger more than did enough to help lead his team to victory. He made a few mistakes – the interception in the 1st quarter, and the sack he took in the 4th quarter right before Jeff Reed’s first missed field goal attempt. And Roetthlisberger uncharacteristically missed open receivers more than once. But accuracy has never been an issue really with Big Ben.

I feel your pain. I actually was ‘watching’ the Chicago Bears game this weekend on my blackberry before my plane flight. The game went down to the last minute. I had to turn my phone off with just 0:58 seconds left. I had to wait 12 hours to find out we won! (I flew to Europe.)
