How old is your son? He really knows how to design an elevated garden. The pipe looks incongruous but it's practical. lol. Anyway, that pipe should be hidden once the plants are in full bloom :D

Is there any chance you could make him share with us the secrets of creating such a lovely garden ... well, whatever you call it, it sure looks great! In theory a construction like this should be fairly simple and easy, but I know from experience things often are not what they appear ;) And I'd hate ending up with anything worse than this, as it's just amazing and I'll settle for nothing less :)

Woot, woot to the manliness! You might go to bed one day and wake up to a house he built for you overnight!

Nah, on a serious note, it's nice they're helping round the house. It is their house afterall.

And that chick. Too cute. Too too cute.

If you like the smell of lavender, could you perhaps buy the non-toxic stuff and sprinkle a few drops of lavender oil into it? Just a thought.

take care...

Wow this garden-thingy seems great - I'm looking forward to pics of it after the sedum grows. And you're saying it took him only one afternoon? That's pretty fast. You must be really proud of him?

Oh that is really nice Suzanne.. I love the stones... Not sure about that chicken though...LOL. The only presents I have received this spring is a mice from the cat...I think the little critters are pretty cute but finding the stomach on the front porch every morning is kinds gross.... Now, I would not have a problem if she were just getting them from our property but she hunts the field next door to us and brings them back...She has always been a little odd.
