Hope you'll have more like with the goldfishes. We still have a bunch of goldfish-graves on our garden because some members (including me) of the family got really attached to them.

If you see little black specks around the stomach of the goldfish then you will be the proud grandparent of a dozen or so babies. They need to be separated as soon as you notice the black specks or the other fish will eat the babies. Don't you remember the fish story from 1981 when we moved here?

Tell me you got a bigger bowl. Please!!!!!!!

I did. Horrible mother that I am...I did the horrible deed.

As for confessing...I seriously entertained telling her the cat got him (the fate of his predecessor) and she probably would have bought it. Dumb on my part, because then I could have gone with the whole 'no more fish - we have a cat' thing and I'd never again have aquarium gravel in my garbage disposal. (BTW - she did use a colander when she used to clean the bowl herself. That was the 2nd call to the B-I-L.)

But...my conscience just wouldn't let me. Dammit.

Know anything about goldfish?

I can't tell a boy goldfish from a girl goldfish, so I've probably just started PDD's Goldfish Procreation Initiative by purchasing four. (Just had a thought...science project season is about to be upon us...hmmmm...)

Should that happen, however, I know how I'll handle population control...

Oh no you DI'INT!!

Hahaha!! I totally would have lied about it, saying he...I don't know...died of shock for getting into clean water or something.

She can do it herself again if she empties the gravel into a colander or something, ya know...

This is some funny shit.
