Yay, another convert, welcome to the BrightSide! No freezes, no viruses, none of that crap that other people always talk about! We've been Mac since our first one in 1986. All a Microsoft PC ever did is try to be like a Mac is right out of the box. You're going to LOVE IT!

I bought my macbook about a few months ago. Since then I’ve always used a PC. But I like the mac so much, it doens’t get slow, you don’t have to constantly update it(it will update itself in time), you don’t have to use any firewall or spyware programs.

I once read an article which said, that it would cost less if organizations used macs instead of pc’s. I mean ofcourse a lot of people would have to convert to mac, but in the long run, it would be more efficient!

While I think the “I’m a PC” campaign is a big improvement, there’s still a major perception problem with Windows that will be difficult to overcome. As a longtime PC user, who has switched to Mac, I can say, Windows operating systems work well but have a lot of hiccups that drove me crazy. While these problems may be small the bad taste you get from one of them sours you on Microsoft.

PC users spend most of their time troubleshooting and tweaking their PCs to improve performance and maintain them.

But life is not like that for us Mac users. My Mac just works!

You know, you're absolutely right about the PC having always been trying to be like a Mac. Of course, when you consider their respective histories, it's easy to see why. I think sometimes the PC gets a bad rap, because when you consider where it came from (engineers trying to take mammoth computers and make them smaller and smaller) it's pretty easy to see why a Mac (designed from a completely different perspective) would have a lot of advantages. Two completely different mindsets birthed these two machines.

On the other hand, the Mac is still trying to convince the world at large that it can be taken seriously for business of all kinds, not just "creative" businesses like mine. Well, I'm convinced and have been for awhile.
