Return of the Nap

Kitten NapI've spent the better part of the last 45 years avoiding sleep. Ask my mother...I hardly ever slept as a child. She could send me to my room, but she couldn't make me sleep!

It’s All About My Bite, They Say

Apr 21

So, I went to see said denturist on Friday. No surprise, he sang the "Keep Your Teeth as Long as You Can" song to me. Ugh. However, his wife/assistant/receptionist was much more supportive and gave me a lot of information and answered all my questions - from the obvious to the ridiculous. LOVE her. Dr. Denturist referred me to an oral surgeon for a consult and warned me that I'd have a hard sell trying to get him to yank all my teeth. Ok, I'm warned. And, as we all know, forewarned is forearmed. I shall go loaded for bear.

Shakin’ a Bad Case of the Okie-Doke

Apr 02

What’s the “okie-doke”, you ask? That disease we sometimes contract that tells us that what others require trumps what we require in any given situation. It’s that drive to keep your end of a bargain, no matter what, even in the face of the other party not keeping theirs, even when it starts costing you and yours dearly. It’s turning a...
